What you don't have to do

    • Move your money. With Financial Planning, there's nothing to transfer.

    • Sign a long-term contract. It's a one-time engagement.

    • Meet an asset minimum. There isn't one.

    • Buy a product. We don't sell products or earn commissions.

    • Prepare for the Initial Call. Just bring your questions.

    • Pay it all up front. Three installments, with a full refund within five business days of signing.

The questions we help you answer

If you're approaching or in retirement:

    • Can I retire now?
    • How much can I spend each year?
    • When should I claim Social Security?

If you're a high earner, still working:

    • Should I sell some of my company stock?
    • Can I retire at 55?
    • Should I make Roth conversions?

If you're taking charge of the household's money:

    • What do I own, and where is it?
    • What needs attention first?
    • Am I on track for retirement?

A Roth conversion can affect taxes, Medicare premiums, and your heirs. Your plan weighs those tradeoffs together.

    What your plan covers

    Coverage depends on your household:

    • Retirement income: retirement timing, spending, market stress tests, and withdrawal order.
    • Taxes: multi-year projections, Roth conversions, capital gains, RSUs, stock options, and deferred compensation.
    • Social Security and Medicare: claiming ages, enrollment timing, and income-related premiums.
    • Investments: current holdings, recommended mix, account placement, and transition steps with tax costs.
    • Insurance: life, disability, long-term care, and liability coverage.
    • Estate: wills, trusts, powers of attorney, beneficiaries, and attorney referrals.
    • Charitable giving: tax-efficient giving.
    • Business owners: business effects on personal finances, not planning for the business itself.

Your most pressing decisions get the most attention.

    What you'll receive in writing

    1. Plan at a Glance. One page with your bottom line and two or three priority decisions.

    2. What We Found. Your biggest opportunities, with estimated effects and assumptions where possible. These are estimates, not guarantees.

    3. Your Written Plan. Your numbers, alternatives, assumptions, and recommendations.

    4. Your Action Items. Prioritized steps with instructions and suggested completion dates.

    5. Where Things Stand. A final one-page summary: completed steps, open items, and next actions.

    What a recommendation looks like

Illustration only. Every recommendation depends on your own situation.

    The question
Should we convert part of our IRAs to Roth after we retire?
    Our recommendation
Convert annually after retirement within a target tax bracket; reassess each fall.
    What it does
Pay tax now for smaller required withdrawals later. Lifetime savings depend on future tax rates and longevity.
    Action item
Make the first conversion, with a suggested completion date.

What you stay in control of

Your part is simple: send your documents within seven days of signing, come to your meetings, and act on the steps you choose.

Financial Planning: a one-time written plan for one flat fee. You keep your accounts where they are and carry out the plan yourself.

    • You don't move any accounts. We don't trade or manage investments during Financial Planning.
    • You set the pace. Action dates are suggestions, not deadlines.
    • Investment management is a separate service. Ongoing Planning: we manage your investments at Fidelity and keep your plan current, for an annual fee based on the assets we manage. Accounts held elsewhere move to Fidelity, and we help with the transfer. It requires its own agreement.

    When your plan is done

The plan is yours to keep.

Continue independently or choose Ongoing Planning for implementation help, plan updates, and investment management.

    No ongoing service is required.
